Compliance Gating
Bookings are automatically blocked when a student's medical or an aircraft's required documents are expired or missing — the check happens before a flight is ever logged, not after.
True cost per aircraft
Most owners bake a maintenance reserve into an hourly cost estimate. SkyView Pro shows that estimate beside what you actually spent — the shop’s invoice, your mechanic’s logged time, and the parts off your own shelf, totalled per aircraft for the period. The two numbers stay separate on purpose: a reserve answers "what should I set aside per hour?" and the recorded figure answers "what did I actually spend?" Adding them together would double-count.
We’ll import your data
Switching is the reason schools stay put. Upload an export from your current system and SkyView Pro shows you exactly what it would create — "4 new aircraft, 1 already here" — before anything is written. You confirm, then it imports. Aircraft and members today; imported members land on your roster and cannot sign in until you invite them.
Airworthiness Board
Every aircraft on one board with a green / amber / red status driven by the records you enter — inspections, ADs, and open grounding items, all from one shared check so the dashboard and the dispatch gate never disagree.
Work Orders & Labor
Open a work order, assign a mechanic, and log labor against it. A grounding work order grounds the aircraft while it is open and releases it on close — no separate flag to remember.
Parts Inventory
A parts catalog with live on-hand quantity and a movement ledger for every consumption, restock, reversal, and adjustment. Consuming more than you have is rejected with the real on-hand number, never a silent partial draw.
AD Compliance Records
Record airworthiness directives against each aircraft — one-time or recurring, on a calendar or hours interval — and see what is coming due. SkyView Pro tracks the ADs you enter; it does not determine which apply to your aircraft.
Squawk Reporting
Pilots and instructors report squawks from the web or the phone in their pocket. Squawks attach to the aircraft, roll into a work order, and stay visible until they are resolved.
Maintenance Expenses
Record what the shop charged you, attach the invoice, and tie it to the aircraft. Outsourced work, in-house labor, and parts all feed one recorded-cost figure per aircraft.
